Hello, thank you for visiting 3 Notes From Heaven.  My name is Bernadette Bevans and I've been writing music since I was fourteen years old.  Over the years I have developed the kind of music sounds and atmosphere that I like to hear and have compiled a range of original pieces onto music CD albums. 

I am inspired by beauty, nature, stories, emotion and my faith.  I began writing original reflective pieces for the piano and then later developed these incorporating other instruments.  I love Medieval and Celtic sounds and rhythms and so I incorporate elements of these styles in my pieces from time to time.  I also use fusion to create my own sound which is completely original so will blend Medieval instruments with sounds which strictly would not be heard together such as Syrian voices or instruments from the Middle East.

Overall what I try to achieve with the music I compose is a powerful emotion, a reflective, somewhat meditative background mood but which is filled with tunes and harmony yet at the same time helping the listener to step back and enter in to the peace and spirit of the atmosphere that is generated through the pieces.  There are a lot of pieces and I try to have a variety on an album so as well as very emotional spiritual pieces there are uplifting pieces, my favourite tending to lean towards a kind of Medieval dance style, all the time keeping a sense of reverence and Heavenly peace so as to make the listening experience worthwhile and never stagnant but always lifting the spirit higher.
